Can I eat spaghetti while pregnant?

I'm trying to eat more healthy during my pregnancy. I made spaghetti for dinner and I want to know is it okay to eat ? Also what are some good dinners , breakfast and snacks to make while pregnant ?

I think maybe you should just take a half hour and search what is NOT okay to eat because that will take way less time than trying to figure out what you CAN eat.

But yes, spaghetti is fine.

@rayygee66,

I very much agree with you. Just a quick web search would be appropriate here.

I've never heard of it not being good during pregnancy. For snacks, I've been loving cheese it's when I'm nauseous. For some reason healthier foods like fruits and veggies make me more sick, so I have to avoid them while nauseous.

I had the same thing for dinner. I don't see why not. Unless you have gestational diabetes and have to watch your carbs, go ahead. Just eat a side salad and some meat with it and your all set.

Spaghetti is fine to eat! I made some for dinner the night before last and had it again for lunch today. It is a lot of carbs, but just don't eat it every meal and you will be fine. I also try and add veggies (I added spinach, red peppers, and onion to mine). 😋 I wish I still had some to eat tonight!

Spaghetti is life...of course it's ok. Why would you think otherwise?

@ImissMyBeeper,

I'm with you! If spaghetti is wrong, I don't want to be right!

If your concerned about the carbs try gluten free noodles or a whole grain prob won't be as satisfying as good ole starchy noodles. I use spaghetti squash instead of noodles bc I eat spaghetti often lol. Breakfast I do oatmeal, whole grain gluten free toast with avocado , waffles, fruit or homemade breakfast burritos. I add peanut butter to my fruit for snacks or carrots/celery and black bean dip . Hmmmm I'm vegan so I have to be creative for nutrients but I hope those help

I think I'm going to make some tomorrow. You know since you mentioned it in all 🤗

It's fine but sometimes spaghetti sauce or any red sauce gives me heart burn since I've been pregnant though! So I make sure I have zantac before having it
